Whether you fancy The Beverly Hills Hotel because of the McCarthy Salad or the La Prairie spa, one thing locals and tourists can agree on is that the hotel's pink-and-white color scheme and iconic banana leaf wallpaper are the height of LA. style.
Over the years, the leafy green print has appeared on everything from Michael Kors skirts to Dolce & Gabbana handbags. And now, luxury sleepwear brand Sant and Abel has created the perfect lounging option to bring the pink palace's retro spirit home with you. Designed exclusively for The Beverly Hills Hotel, the sleepwear’s pattern is inspired by the iconic Martinique wallpaper print, which was created for the property by Don Loper in 1942.
"We wanted to capture the mood and old Hollywood glamour you can’t help but feel while staying there," said the brand's founder Sophie Lovejoy of designing the collection. "We are excited to make comfortable things that you aren't embarrassed to pop into the supermarket in or wear around other people." (Not surprisingly the Kardashian clan are fans of the printed pj’s, Kourtney and Khloe recently donned the nightshirts for a sleepover.)
The new collection, made from 100 percent cotton, consists of 20 pieces including long and short sleeve pajama sets for men, women and children, as well as sleep masks, cosmetic travel bags, night caps and for those who don’t want to leave out their pups, dog bandanas.
Priced from $45-$290, the entire Sant and Abel collection is made locally in Los Angeles and available exclusively at the hotel’s newly renovated gift shop and online store.
